Heather Prentice
Clinic manager and Master Massage Therapist

Heather grew up on a farm in southern Alberta, where hard work, resilience, and a deep appreciation for natural healing first took root. She graduated with honours from CDI College in 2015 and later returned as a massage instructor in 2021—an achievement that reflects her commitment to learning, teaching, and elevating others within the profession.

Before becoming a massage therapist, Heather worked as a sheet metal worker and welder, giving her firsthand insight into the physical demands of labour‑intensive careers. This background allows her to truly understand muscular strain, repetitive stress, and the importance of maintaining strong, healthy movement patterns.

Heather has also trained and competed as a barrel racer and continues to prioritize fitness and staying active in her everyday life. Her passion for movement, strength, and overall wellness strongly influences her treatment approach. She believes that health is multifaceted—rooted in physical activity, natural care, and consistent self‑maintenance. Currently, she is working toward her Master Herbalist designation and Nutrition Specialist certification, further expanding her holistic understanding of the body and its healing potential.

When she’s not in the clinic, Heather enjoys hiking and camping during the warm months. In winter, she loves reading and spending quality time at home with her family, embracing the chance to recharge when Alberta’s weather keeps her indoors.

Heather chose massage therapy because she has always believed in alternative medicine and wanted a career that aligned with her values. For her, the most rewarding part of being a massage therapist is seeing each client leave the treatment room feeling better than when they arrived.

Her favourite quote is:
“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right.” – Henry Ford
