Taylor Rice
Student Massage Therapist

Tayor is a second‑year massage therapy student at ACMT

who brings a thoughtful, dedicated and client‑focused approach to his work.

After several years working in the oilpatch, he chose to redirect his career toward something more meaningful by supporting people’s health, mobility, and overall well‑being through therapeutic touch.

With a lifelong background in martial arts, beginning at the age of five, Tayor has developed a deep understanding of movement, discipline, and the mechanics of the human body.

He is currently an assistant instructor at the Whitecourt Muay Thai Club, where he helps students improve their technique, strength, and resilience. His years of training have shaped his appreciation for injury prevention, recovery, and maintaining physical longevity, which naturally led him to pursue massage therapy.

Tayor has a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, functional movement, and preventative massage. He is passionate about helping clients manage pain, recover from injuries, and reduce the risk of future strain. His personal experience as both an athlete and instructor gives him unique insight into the needs of active individuals, making him especially attentive to supporting optimal performance and healthy movement patterns.

Outside his studies and training, Tayor enjoys reading, continuous learning, and expanding his knowledge of therapeutic practices. He is committed to growing as a practitioner and looks forward to supporting clients on their wellness journeys with skill, empathy, and professionalism.
